At the end of the season, we pick the pumpkins up and donate them to a local farm

Ann Arbor Pumpkin Company is the project of us! Karsten and Laura Jurkiewicz.

Pumpkins inspire joy and wonder with their undeniable charisma. Our mission is to harness the power of love for pumpkins to drive the movement toward local, regenerative agriculture.

Our longer-term goal is to grow pumpkins ourselves in a manner that supports water, soil, and ecological health. Our vision is to breed pumpkins to the unique conditions of SE Michigan, resulting in beautiful, delicious, and disease resistant varieties.

At the end of the day, these pumpkins are not just a feast for the eyes, they are real food! It is important to us that after spending their time on your porch, they get looped back into the natural nutrient cycle, giving their nourishment to farm animals and compost production.
